Anyone else stuck in the queue at EMDC?

I can’t work out which of those timescales relate to nisi dates - anyone got a clue?

TIA

Hi Spoon,

Any update?

ItsInTheSpoon · 12/06/2019 11:45

Hi sunny, rang again.... it came down to the admin team on Friday (7/6), which means it’s been to the judge & he’s made a decision. It will take 3-4 weeks from now to be processed, when a letter will come out... he says it seems likely it’s been refused (though can’t confirm this) - the letter will say if it’s a refusal, and the reasons. He said if I ring in a couple of weeks, they may be able to tell me the reasons.
Sorry I haven’t updated on here. As you can probably imagine, this news has totally knocked me for six Sad

Oh my goodness Spoon. Why do they suggest its been refused? What makes them think that? What a flipping joke that you have to wait so long for an explanation! Surely it cant be flat out refused?
My heart goes out to you. This is what I am dreading too.

Can I be seriously nosey and asked what terms you had arranged on the consent order with stbxh and if you had mediation? I really feel for you and hope it can be resolved x

ItsInTheSpoon · 12/06/2019 13:03

I don’t know why they said it might have been refused. The guy said he couldn’t see the details of reasons as it’s only just arrived at the admin team. He wasn’t as nice as the one I spoke to last time!

The agreement on the consent order was arrived at through solicitors on both sides so I can’t understand or imagine what is not considered ok. (No mediation.)

I really hope you get yours back soon! It’s agony waiting xx
