i am currently going through a divorce and have had to provide a Form E along with bank statements to support this information. To me, this is personal information that has been provided in confidence. My ex has been taking pictures of my statements and sending them to my family questioning them about my transactions. i cannot afford legal advice so i am doing this alone do i have any rights regarding the fact he has shared my personal information?

You are correct, they are strictly private and confidential. If he wants to raise questions about transactions he needs to do so through a questionnaire.

Does he have a solicitor?

Yes he does. i emailed the solicitor and informed them that their client was sharing my personal information, their reply was 'our client has financial disclouser of your information" which i am well aware of, but that was not a response to what i said about the fact that he was sharing it with others. i am so unhappy about this.

Is this voluntary disclosure or has one of you applied to the court for financial remedy?

It's all being done through the court.

In that case remind them of Clibbery v Allan and the implied undertaking as to confidentiality. Tell them you want his agreement not to show anything to third parties or you will raise it as litigation misconduct.

What is your next hearing, and when is it?
