How long does the CETV take?

Hi.

I work for the NHS and have just applied for the CETV. I have been told they have to supply this within 3 months. Does it really take that long?

If your lucky it will....but can take longer which is a real pain when you need to get it updated for the final settlement!!

Ginpasta · 22/02/2018 22:31

Hi, I got mine fairly quickly - cant remember exactly but if was def less than 3 months xx

vilamoura2003 · 22/02/2018 22:37

Can take ages 🙄

GummyGoddess · 22/02/2018 22:44

My company can do them within a few days, the NHS take ages to do anything. I hate dealing with them, it's pointless even calling for an update. All they seem to do is have someone write out apologising for the delay and reiterating the possible timescales.

Occasionally I've managed to speak to someone lovely and they've sent whatever I've asked for to me within a week, but that's rare.

My ex to be doesn’t want any of my pension. The figure is for the consent order. I wish I was aware it would take this long. I’m hoping people in my situation see this thread and learn from it.

Thanks

My annual statement hasn’t been calculated for an unknown reason and I’ve had to apply for that to be done manually. That’ll take a few weeks too. My divorce application went to Stoke on Trent so any clue on the waiting list there would be great

Tell me about it. I wish I’d known about this at the petition stage

Can get everything else ready though whilst you wait for it. I.e the Form E. We exchanged them knowing that mine was still outstanding. I also knew it wouldn't be amazing as l have been PT for many years.

Kittycat124 · 09/03/2018 14:40

That’s my plan. The Decree Nisi isn’t with me yet so I’m not panicking too much

Is it worth paying for the fast track service? It could take up to 6 weeks but it’s £408?

OP posts:
MyBoysAndI · 11/03/2018 17:45

Good grief!! Only if you have that spare. My divorce has cost £7000 so far

Kittycat124 · 11/03/2018 22:46

No, I haven’t got it spare but if it’d get this nightmare over with, I’ll do anything .
