Hi guys
Need 6 points and been to told to try and keep them from causing friction....
Any ideas....
There's so much UB but they'd list like this
Excessive drinking
No interest in doing things with the children
Reclusive no interest in socialising
No interest or support in my work
Unnecessarily untrusting
No allowing my freedom
How do I ease those or are they reasonable?
Thanks
Sandie

daisy - please, beware, once these seemingly innocuous issues have been written up in solicitor-speak they will sound AWFUL!! They dont have to be genuine reasons btw!! I made all mine up (with the help of my now ex!)

Anyway you need to give specific examples eg the respondent drank to excess on several occasions over the past year which led to concern by the petitioner for the safety of her and her children. The respondent frequently became incapable of speech and independent movement and was prone to violent outbursts of temper when drunk

The respondent refused showed no interest in and refused to support the petitioner in her work which led to the petitioner feeling unappreciated and inadequate.

I actually enjoyed coming up with the examples of unreasonable behaviour. My favourite example was about his lack of interest in personal hygiene. With my ex it was difficult to limit the reasons Grin

I had a huge list for mine!

I narrowed it down to 3

I've got 9 and 6 are backed up by documents / screen shots / emails. I wrote mine with my Dad and the Solicitor actually softened them!

I quite enjoyed the process.

He gets the petition on Tuesday and I'm expecting much bellyaching etc

When you cite a behaviour you could also cite the impact to you.
The defendant drank excessively X times per week which caused the petitioner to feel afraid, isolated and anxious( or whatever)

Also time bound so say, for the last 2 years..defendant has..It can't be too long a time period (like all of your marriage) as I think it shows you have accepted it.

The defendant the would not participate in any social activities
