Adultery law in UK
Just found pics of cheating husband in bed with a woman both half naked in my own home.
How likely this could help to file for an adultery divorce and is it true that if you lived with husband for more than 6 months after you have found out about his cheating affairs you cannot use it as a reason for the divorce? Just read it on Gov.uk
Also, how likely I could get the children custody. I am the main carer. Your advice please

You really need to see a solicitor. Each divorce is very unique.

Adultery is known for being hard to use as a reason for divorce and the things that you can use are 'proof' are quite strict I believe.

You are likely to remain as the primary carer of the children if that is the role that you have at the moment. With regards to contact Etc courts like to work towards shared care.

Not an expert, but the six month rule does apply, yes.

If your husband admits it there is no need for proof.

He might admit it by saying we were physically separated but still legally married but live under the same roof for financial reasons.
