A workmate is getting married and is worried that her wages will now be calculated as part of her new husbands child maintenance. Surely her wages wont be included?

No, current CSA system only takes the parents income into account.

Ooh tell her not to worry. And as an added bonus, if she already has her own kids ( from a previous relationship) her new hubby gets to pay even less CM for his own children. And if she goes in to have kids with new hubby, he gets to reduce his payments as well.

Lots if decent women wouldn't dream if encouraging a man to do such a thing thankfully.

But the new wife still gets full maintenance from HER ex partner when she remarries or cohabits. No reduction required.

Yes you can and will have maintenance reduced if new partner' has children, even if new partner is getting child maintenance from the dad of her children.

And it doesn't even matter if they're married! My h lives with the ow and her 2 kids and could reduce cm just because he lives with other children! Luckily he doesn't. Totally wrong isn't it.
