Court and Mediation

If you agree something in Mediation that you wouldn't necessarily get in Court, will that be ok?

I know papers and agreements have to go to Court to be approved - but if your solicitor says something like "I don't think a Court would support your claim for xxx" - does he mean if you'd gone to Court instead of Mediation? Or does he mean when the Court see the paperwork for whatever xxx is, they'll reject it?

Sorry, I should have asked my solicitor this when I was with him - it's just that I only think of the relevant questions when I arrive back home and it's too late then!

Thanks if you know the answer!
