Is anyone finding the newer Freestyle Libre 2 (15 day) a bit glitchier than the older one?

I'm on my fourth or fifth new type, 15 day, Freestyle Libre 2 and it seems to be need to self-calibrate much more often than the previous 14 day one. It also seems to over-shoot changes, then readjust, more than the previous type too. So I'll go shooting down and look as though I'm going low, so I go for a fingerpick to double check and by the time I've done that the sensor has completely changed its mind and decided that I never left the green zone.

I've got the Libre 2 plus, it's the only type of sensor I have had since I started taking insulin in December.

I've had loads of false hypos, the worst as 3.3 when my fingerprick was 5.8! It makes me worry how accurate it is overall.

My last sensor shut itself down and said it had a fault. I did get it replaced by the manufacturer without a problem.

It is a pain in the neck when it shows low, although the previous version of the Libre 2 used to occasionally do that as well. I always double check with a finger prick test because most of the time I'm actually fine.

I’ve found them so glitchy - constantly losing connection to my phone so having to relevant which is a pain!

I had a sensor shut itself down on Friday, then when I applied the new one the applicaor broke and a piece stayed attached to the needle making the sensor unusable.

Abbott has sent out 2 new sensors.

I@ve had a few false hypos with the new sensor, it seems to like to set the alarm off after it reconnects to my phone after being in another room or something.

I'm ready to throw the sensors out of the window but I don't know if the NHS will prescribe a different type.

That's awful @Gingerkittykat. I reckon they have done something to reduce production costs so the quality isn't as good anymore.

The one that I'm currently wearing is definitely running low compared to fingerpick tests but not massively out of line. Running low has been annoying today as I need to be 'five to drive' and I have been dropping below that but my fingerpick has always been just under six which is fine. Otherwise a much smoother graph with fewer random peaks and troughs than my last one, which was hugely spiky both up and down very rapidly.

Im using closed loop with a Libre 2+ and the recent ones ive had have dropped connection almost every day for up to an hour. Restarting seems to be the only way to rectify.
