Just wanting to see how many people are using weightloss jabs with type 2 diabetes?
I’m doing well after 6 weeks but wondered if anyone has any longer term experience?

My partner has just started Mounjaro 3 weeks ago for Type 2. Have you had recent bloods since you started? My partner isn’t wanting to lose weight really ( maybe 8-12lb max) but last blood test was 83. We bought online first and although the pharmacy sent him the pen they told him to make appointment with Diabetic nurse to discuss his meds and she agreed to prescribe them (result!).

We are hoping he can reduce some of his other meds. Also interested in others experiences.

That's good to be prescribed. I'm buying online but am finding them really good so far

I was prescribed Mj for managing T2. For me it was allowed due to Hbac1 7.5 and BMU of 31. And that was on the lower border of them funding it. I am only on my w1of 2.5mg dose.

Forgot to mention that was told to drop Sigliptin.

Hi all.
I'm T2 and have a Brain Tumour. The treatment for the tumour brought on a stroke and two TIA's.
I have balance issues due to the BT, and this has affected my joints and limited my mobility.
After a battle, my Neuro consultant agreed that Mounjaro may help me so spoke to my GP. I was approved in May, but had to wait until last week for an appointment with the Diabetes Centre before I could start my injections. I had my first one yesterday, and I'm really hoping that this will help to stop the vicious circle. If I lower my HbA1c and lose weight, my joints will be less painful and my mobility will increase.
Any advice gratefully received.
