I've read up all about dietary changes and stopped my chocolate habit but I normally only eat once daily in the evening due to no appetite during the day( weird I know!)
My reading at 12 noon is usually around 7 and doesn't fall to 4 ish until around 4pm
I'm 60 BMI 21, however my late DM was T1
Any thoughts much appreciated as I'm not sure what to do

@Omgblueskys
Thank you so much for your informative reply!
I will look him up now
I have read some sites which say it's good for insulin resistant and others which say regular meals are important

You will be overwhelmed with how easy he makes the changes, we don't know till we check if we're insulin resistant, the changes are easy to make, I just looked at the app and a banana is 6 teaspoons of sugar 🙄, good luck op

If you're in the UK, ask your GP is there's a pre-diabetes programme in your area. Many areas have them and here a new one starts every couple of weeks in a different part of the town or you can do online.

I decided to attend sessions and have got about 12 sessions over ten months. I find it really interesting and it isn't just about what you eat, it's about when (ie for you not to eat loads in the evening as you'll probably get a big spike that you can't counteract with exercise, general movement, exercise, making changes to your weight, lifestyle, sleep, stress which all have a knock on effect. Obviously some of it doesn't apply, but I'm hoping small changes in every area will help me. About 45 mins is what the teacher wants to get across, but 45 mins is chatting, supporting eachother, asking questions.
