2 year old newly diagnosed advice please

My 2 year old was diagnosed with T1 Diabetes two weeks ago. Such a shock to us all. He is currently wearing the libre 2 which we are finding to be very inaccurate for his blood sugar readings. He has one long lasting injection before bed and fast acting insulin with his meals. We have been offered dexcom 6 and omnipod 5 pump. We're not sure what to do. Will this be good for a tiny 2 year old or should we stick with injections?
Thanks in advance, this is all very new to us.

I’m sorry I don’t have first hand knowledge but didn’t want to read and run 🙁

I currently wear a libre 2 which is fairly accurate for me and manage using MDI (multiple daily injections) but I’m an adult and can sort it all out for myself. The latest tech can be fantastic, especially for those that are unable to take responsibility for their own control. Diabetes UK have a forum and I’d recommend you have a look on there as you’ll likely find someone with relevant experience that can offer some helpful advice

I'd suggest taking the dexcom and omnipod. You can easily switch back to injections if it's not compatible.

Our son was diagnosed in January and had the libre 3 he was given a 3 month supply before leaving the hospital, we find it very accurate almost the same as when doing finger pricks. We haven't pit him on the pump yet.

My 7 year old is on Dexocm G6 diagnosed age 5. We was quickly moved from libre 2 as we had lots of problems with it. She is on a different pump but pumps are great. So much better than injections and gives a lot more freedom to eat when she wants. I often give some insulin up front and then the rest when finished. It is a lot better at night as well
