Breakfast ideas no eggs

I'm newly diagnosed. Type 2. Thought I was reasonably healthy. Drink a lot (that's another thing altogether) and love crisps, bread, pasta and pizza.
Trying to change diet. Breakfast is usually fruit yogurt, oats and berries or porridge. Sometimes I'd have melon, grapes etc but usually oats.
I eat chicken. No other meat. I despise mushrooms and eggs.
I need ideas for breakfasts especially and snacks that aren't egg based or peanut butter on an apple type thing.
I know I'm being fussy. I just need easy and satisfying food in the morning cause I just crave crisps. Giving up chocolate: cake/ sweet stuff has been a piece of piss (bar fruit) but crisps and sack things are proving really tough.
Any ideas? Good plans? Websites? Telling me to suck it up and eat an egg?

Full fat Greek yoghurt and berries is lower carb

Avocado and smoked salmon

I actually find it easier to not have breakfast a d then eat 11-12

Just on the crisps front… maybe worth giving pork scratchings a go? I love the salt n vinegar flavoured ones
Also KP salt n vinegar flavoured nuts
(Dislclaimer I am not diabetic but like to eat low carb so no idea if those are suitable but they are low carb)

My healthy breakfast is a smoothie made with a few berries (I get frozen ones), a small handful of spinach leaves, 0% greek yog and a scoop of chocolate protein powder and a bit of water. I've got a nutribullet so it's really easy to make quickly and wash up. It's nicer than it sounds and the protein helps to keep me going.

Snacks - cottage cheese, a baby bel, a few almonds maybe?

I you don’t need to completely give up carbs but reduce them. Sometimes if you make too many changes at once it’s hard to keep up with but if you do small goals at a time that may be more achievable in the long run.

May be ditch the chocolate and crisps or have as a tray night one or the other

Parent of a child with diabetes here, type 1 but still the same need to count carbs.

Please don't have a big fruity smoothy on an empty stomach for breakfast OP. Your blood sugar will rocket. Yes, berries contain less carbs than other fruit but still l don't think it would be a good option for someone with diabetes.

Obviously cereal is out for the same blood sugar raising reason. Have you tried something like avocado on toast ?

You can get smaller sized 50/50 sliced loaves that only have about 12g carbs in each slice.

Sourdough bread is good too, the proper stuff. Apparently the fermentation process alters the starches in the bread so you don't get the same blood sugar spike you usually do after eating bread.
