Suggestions for a freezer lock for mum with dementia

Hi please can anyone suggest a freezer lock? My mum keeps taking things out of the freezer well before she needs to, the carers have grumbles, I have tried to get through to my mum but she keeps doing it. I've also stuck a large sign on the door to ask her not to do it. I can't find any way round the problem now.

Her freezer door goes up to the wall and on the other side is a cupboard. It is an integrated appliance. All the freezer locks I can see depend upon the unit having a corner but in this case there is no corner.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

What about one of the baby locks that's like a strap? You could attach one side to the wall (or to the next-door cupboard, or to the counter above if it's under the counter) and the other side to the door of the freezer.

Either the sort of childproof lock pp has linked or I've had friends use a chain with a padlock with a code known to the carers.

Thanks@Xiaoxiong they look like they might work. And not expensive even if they don't work

I wouldnt want to use a padlock..that would feel a bit too harsh/ restrictive .. although it would definitely achieve what I'm seeking.
