I've read in a post online about jewelleries made especially for dementia patients to chew to stop them chewing other things but I can't find any online? Does anybody know where I may find some?

If you Google "SEN chew toys" loads of different options will come up. Hopefully you'll find some suitable choices.

Thank you. Just had a look and I don't think they would be suitable. Most look small and have strings on them, afraid he would probably chew the strings.

If you search for "chewellery"or "adult sensory chew" you should find stuff which is designed to stand up to a fair amount of chewing. I've not seen ones that say they are specifically designed to help with dementia, but a lot say are to help with autism, and if you can find those sort that specify they are suitable for adults, they do stand up pretty well. e.g. from Amazon

Just seen about the strings - you can get bracelets which might work better: www.amazon.co.uk/Chewigem-Tread-Bracelet-Sensory-Autism/dp/B00TE4YSME/ref=sr_1_1?s=drugstore&keywords=chewigem+bracelet&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1568028531&sr=1-1

@KingBobra thank you, I don't think they would be big enough. Unsure if anybody on this forum may have tried them? Atm he is chewing bedding and blankets x
