So going threw mediation, I believe my ex has misdeclared her income, do I challenge her and have her possibly investigated and fined over it for fraud or let it go ? What would you do ?

Talk to her?

Ian2with3 · 31/01/2017 18:05

We don't really get along/not on talking terms , she would just verbally attack me !

Write to her then. It could be a genuine mistake.

Just think about what would happen if it was the other way round?
She is trying to squeeze more out of you.
I would challenge it. Why should she get away with lying?

Ian2with3 · 31/01/2017 18:16

My solicitor tells me to question it but I am worried that in the long term the kids will miss out ie from any fine she gets or reduced benefits etc etc

At the end of the day, if it was the opposite way round, do you think that she would think twice about dropping you in it?
If she is saying that she earns less than what she does, they will be coming to you for more.
You need to think about your future as well.
What will happen when you meet someone else and wants to have a child with you but, your ex is taking a lion's share?
I'm sure that you won't let your children go without but, don't let your ex take the piss.
