Given up on finding what I need ans an ebike so I'm converting a pedal bike

Currently riding a cruiser style where the bar is level with the top of my chain guard

Has anyone any suggestions? Trying to get below 12kgs

Unfortunately of course the laws of physics are against you when it comes to buying a lightweight step through bike but the Cannondale Treadwell, Specialised Sirrus or Liv Alight might be worth looking at.
The Islabikes Jimi could have been a serious contender for you before they closed, but you might find one second hand and they are only about 10kg if my memory serves me right. I don't think they sold many of their adult bikes unfortunately though so they're not easy to get hold of, but you might get lucky.
Actually if you are small enough a good quality kid's bike might not be a bad idea. Frog do a city bike with 26 inch wheels that's under 10kg.

God it's complicated being disabled!

The first 3 are all too high in the stepthrough

The frog is possible but I need to know the height of the lowest point - but I am small enough (29 inch inside leg)

But the Isla Joni looks fab but too heavy at 15kgs & the Janice and Jimi are higher in the middle again

Nope the Joni is 11kg so perfect - the 15kg I saw was the ebike

Now I "just" have to find a medium or a small

The only one I can find is a large 🙄😢

Can you cut a bit off the frame?

finding a lightweight step-through that’s not an e-bike can be weirdly hard. If you're aiming for under 12kg, maybe look at something like the Liv Alight or Ridgeback Avenida; they’re both pretty light and have that easy step-through style. Or, if you're up for a bit of a project, some older steel bikes (like old Raleighs or Peugeots) can be surprisingly light and smooth once cleaned up. Hope you find something that feels good to ride.

Aren’t you the lady whose brother built you a bike a few years ago? Did you manage to get it shipped from Sweden (???). I’m a cyclist, not a crazy stalker, i remember cycling threads!

Anyway, Try these folk

I gave up, it was impossible

I ended up with a moustache which is very heavy but very well balanced and I love it!! Not at all what i wanted but the riding position is excellent for my disabilities

I did get the bike from my brother and I can't ride it - the crossbar was too high and I couldn't get my legover and the torque sensor wouldn't register the (little) strength my right leg has

So I have an expensive green ornament in my spare room! 🙁😖😬
