Moving on from Duolingo

During lockdown I've been doing quite a lot of French on Duolingo and I think it has helped improve my knowledge of it quite a bit. I also like the online model that I can just pick up here and there for the odd half hour or more. However, it has obviously limitations and I'd like to be able to move on so that I'm more comfortable listening to and speaking French, and also to improve my writing.

Does anyone have any recommendations for online French courses that would enable me to take the next steps?

I don't have any advice but I'm in exactly the same situation so following to see what others suggest.

I'm learning a different language though. I was pushed into improving my language skills though as I was home schooling in a language I can't speak. I haven't finished Duolingo yet but I'm doing fairly well and I too am thinking what's next. I'm considering an online TEFL course but have been for years.

I use Babbel for Turkish and Norwegian, but it is not for free. They offer French as well and of course the Institut Français does online courses, too
