Any French-Eng translators about please? (Urgent.)

How would you translate the following?

"Eduquer à la Liberté

Aimer et guider nos enfants pour qu'ils s'envolent solides"

I am helping someone out; need to translate in to English for tomorrow morning. Context is educational/Christian.

I know what it means but I am struggling to put it elegantly in to English. Has to be v. accurate.

An education to achieve liberty (or freedom)???
To love and to guide our children to achieve a solid launch?? So that they fly well?

Eurgh and double eurgh

Any ideas anyone? I'm regretting that second glass of with dinner which is dulling my brain.

not a translator, but would probably translate the last bit as something like 'so they can take flight' rather than being too literal?

(Slightly euphemistic rather than precisely accurate but it conveys the sentiment IMHO)

How does that sound? I know it's not strictly literal, but it gets the sense across without sounding like it's been mangled through a translation programme.

How about the English phrase 'a flying start'?

Hi OP I am a qualified FRE-ENG translator. I am guessing these are school mission statements? I would use the gerund in that case, I think it sounds better. I might be back later if I think of something better, but in the meantime I can offer:

Educating for freedom

Loving and guiding our children towards a secure, independent future.
