Without resort to Google Translate, of course.

For starters:

Joyeux noël
Feliz Navidad
Buon Natale

MultipleMama · 19/12/2014 00:41

Oh I remember one from school, no idea if I'm spelling right though Blush

Craciun Fericit (?)

Lweji · 19/12/2014 01:25

Lweji · 19/12/2014 01:31

May ye have a merry christmas and a bountiful new year! Many cheerful blessin's on ye ship.

TanteRose · 19/12/2014 01:38

glaedelig jul - Danish

MultipleMama · 19/12/2014 01:52

Made a typo should be; Gledileg jol instead of Gleoileg jol.

I never noticed how close the spelling is between the Danish saying and this one!

MardyBra · 19/12/2014 08:55

Some of us were none the wiser Multiple

FiveHoursSleep · 19/12/2014 13:31

Meri Kirihimete

MardyBra · 19/12/2014 14:47

No idea for either of those. Confused

Mrs Pear - something from Eastern Europe? (seems to be my standard answer for everything)

FiveHours - I'm assuming it's an imported version of Merry Christmas for whatever language it is because it. I would have said Japanese but we've had that.

Mine were Swedish, Icelandic, Finnish and Romanian :)

I'm quite nerdy in the fact that I like learning all these new ones. I'm tempted to learn Polish now! :)

MardyBra · 19/12/2014 19:21

Thanks for letting us know multiple . I seemed to have missed out even guessing at them. Xmas Confused

Vrolijk Kerstfeest (or replace Vrolijk with Gelukkig, Zalig, Fijn) or Fijne Kerstdagen.

MardyBra · 30/12/2014 14:40

Sorry I missed the last couple. A belated merry Christmas to you too.

And I have no idea, but seeing as it's nearly new year might resort to google.

GoodKingQuintless · 30/12/2014 14:48

We have the choice of:

God jul
Gledelig jul
Til Lykke med helga (said as a greeting if you visit or phone somebody)
And between Christmas and newt year:

Til Lykke med Romjula
And finally after all festivities :

Vel overstått
Which means something along the lines of " I hope you had great festivities, this is general and can be used after all sorts of celebrations.

MardyBra · 30/12/2014 14:50

I like God jul. Presumably "good year".

Vel overstått feels like "well over state"
