A very underused adjective in my opinion.

Shiteful is also quite handy. Grin

It was always used in the same sentence as "Leon Brittain". But, yes, equally applies to Portillo as well.

Minimammoth · 21/01/2014 15:36

While we are on the subject I quite like ordure.

PacificDogwood · 21/01/2014 17:37

RowanMN has just confirmed that there will be a "cunning linguists" subject.
What magnificent news Grin

WitchWay · 21/01/2014 17:41

I like Imbroglio and Peccadillo and Recidivistic

WitchWay · 21/01/2014 17:42

PacificDogwood · 21/01/2014 17:47

I love "obfuscatory". I live the way it is what it describes!

VikingLady · 21/01/2014 19:11

Oh, and facetious!

hackmum · 21/01/2014 19:12

Today I heard Will Self say "malfeasance" on the radio, which I found very pleasing. Then on PM Ann Leslie used the word "toothsome", which I also liked. I have resolved to use both more often.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 21/01/2014 19:15

Nor do we say rebarbative enough.

AphraBane · 21/01/2014 19:27

A friend pointed out three words she particularly likes today. I feel I should pass them on:

circadian
pelagic
happenstance

I confess I had to go and look up pelagic. It didn't mean what I thought it did.

Minimammoth · 21/01/2014 20:22

I wonder how many of these we can get into one sentence. < throws down gauntlet>

Salmotrutta · 21/01/2014 20:25

What?

The whole threads-worth?? Shock

I love oubliette. It's hard to use in everyday life though. We called the glory hole in our old house it.

Minimammoth · 21/01/2014 20:44

Ok paragraph then.Go on Salmo you know you want to.

pneumonoultramicroscopisilicovolcanoconiosis.

But I prefer palimpsest, perfidious and parsimony.

KissesBreakingWave · 31/01/2014 00:49

I like to fulminate at very small provocation. I become quite obstreperous.
