Can just to it on here I think

I am auditioning for an agent next month and they have requested that I do two contrasting pieces. I was going to do two Shakespeare, Phoebe from As You Like It and L. Macbeth - 2 very contrasting pieces, one high comedy and the other drama. I haven't been around in theatre for ages and have no idea what is going on there so thought I'd steer clear of 'modern' pieces - also they have some dvds of my telly stuff anyway so I thought that'd be enough - do you think?

Also I was going to do Phoebe with a colloquial accent, high comedy/a bit camp (though not Kenneth Williams camp) - does that sound in the right ballpark to you?

MT - it sounds great. I would steer clear form goin gtoo OTT with Pheobe. They have heard it loads and loads remember.

Did they ask for two Shakespeares?

Two contrasting pieces usually means one modern as well I would say.

Have a look at anything post 1930

Who's afraid?
Lady in the van?
Amy's view?

No, it just specified 2 contrasting pieces. Will have a look at your suggestions - needs to be light to counter lady m. Ta
