Good one CT10. Love that film.
Lord of the Rings of course, but you have to watch all 3.
Think they are my all time favourite's.

I dont know if anybody would have seen it, but The Story of Us.

A fab film about relationships, seeing things through anothers eyes. I watched it at the cinemas and cried my eyes out, still gets me at the ending. Fab film.

DH insists people should watch the original Romeo and Juliet, I prefer the newer one.

Not a film, but if they ever changed this play to a film, it's worth a watch "Deep Blue Sea" - not to be confused with the shark film as I did once which resulted in me being thoroughly disappointed to see sharks eating people as opposed to raw emotions about a relationship break down!

Shawshank Redemption - for feel good factor to give you hope in life.

The Godfather 1 & 2 (3 only if you find Andy Garcia as sexy as I do) - makes you feel miserable but you will begin to appreciate the most brilliant, charismatic actor alive, Al Pacino !

If you liked LA Confidential...

see China Town (Jack Nicholson when he was sexy and a good actor and Faye Dunaway when she didn't look like a prune and was a top class actress - circa 1967) which it has copied in style.

An underrated film in my view.
