it is a great word.
I've always loved it and always think of those long spindly seedlings we grew in a cupboard without any sunlight in 'o' level Bio.

No, I just really like that uber-English, skinny, English colouring, tall, plenty of hair look. Does it for me, I'm afraid. Dh is a sort of Northern, rather less poncey version. 6'4", hair, long face, big nose...mmmm.
