My story is pretty long so I will try and make it as short as possible

I started dating my neighbours ex 8 months ago and since then she has been making my life a living hell. I'm getting constant threats of violence, she shouts abuse at me everytime I leave the house, she tells the other children on the street not to play with my 4 Yr old DD, she's attempted to damage my home and car, she allows her 16 Yr old DD to call me vile names, she spread lies to another neighbour calling me a child beater and a paedophile so now the other neighbour is being verbally abusive and theeatning. She called the police twice in 6 days over something I haven't done, one of the things im supposed to have done I was at my DD sports day when it was supposed to have happened.

And now because the police haven't done anything she's phoned my housing officer telling lies to her so she came out to warn me.

I'll admit when my HO turned up I broke down because I've had enough, I've tried the police and council myself and nothing happens yet when she calls for some reason they come out. What the hell do I have to do for this to stop.

Please help

If the police haven't taken you seriously so far, I would call 101 and ask to speak to the duty sergeant at your local station.

At the very least they should be considering an offence of harassment but actually, given that you have a clear alibi for at least one of the incidents, I'd suggest they should be looking at an offence of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The police are supposed to be independent investigators and should not be preferring one side to another before making proper enquiries.

Good luck with it!

Yes that isn't ok OP. Try not to get involved with these games she's playing & go down the official route. Keep a log of everything she's done- times & dates for the harassment & name calling. Your housing agency will have a neighbourhood harassment policy which will probably by online. It's harassment & you don't have to put up with it. Refer it to the police as pp says.
