VA on enhanced DBS check

So I attended the police station a while back for a VA, I was read my rights but not arrested or cautioned (I don't think). My question is will this show up on an enhanced DBS check? The job is for a role in healthcare.

It would depend what action the police took (eg reported you for summons, cautioned you, or took no further action). It wouldn't show on your check if no action was taken. Anything else, it would depend on what offence it was as to whether they disclose.

The police "filter" all information they decide to include on an enhanced DBS check. They will include intelligence about things which didn't lead to a charge only if they feel it's relevant.

This all comes back to Ian Huntly and the Soham murders - extensive police intelligence about women making allegations and complaints, but no charges, arrests or convictions.

One informal chat with the police won't be disclosed. If you're being hauled in every week for a chat or interview that's a different matter.
