I have just under two chapters to go to finish my novel.

I know exactly what will happen, though I still sometimes stumble over how it happens, iyswim. And I really, really REALLY want to finish.

Here's the catch: (well, two of them)

  1. 17m ds, who I look after 24/7, looooooves to bash use mummy's computer, so I can't work while he's awake - I only have the two hours between his bedtime and mine. Plus he is teething so my brain is jelly.
  1. We are emigrating in 8 weeks' time.

So, who's going to lace up their big ass-kickers (that could be, big-ass kickers ) and help me get this sucker in the bag?

I am a procrastinating visual thinker.

It's only two chapters, and you're probably going to have to rewrite or heavily revise most of the novel later on. So just bash it out.

DD is chewing on my laptop's power cord. Must go!

ha! she fell for it!! LL, how can you call yourself an arse-kicker when you are that easily distracted, eh?

you see, i think part of it is (horror!!!!) we all need to get the hell off mumsnet. i've just been sat here for an hour and 20 minutes. AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES! that COULD have been used for: tidying up. giving myself a pedicure and a facial. catching up on admin. or doing one of my projects (novel, children's book, card game idea...)

But I'd miss you girls.

Go for it phd, if you can get your ds to sleep through the night you can do ANYTHING!!!
