And my response is, no one would ever believe me!
I have been a nurse for 30 years. I have had a varied career all over the country and just seem to have a wealth of interesting, funny, heartbreaking and uplifting stories that people live to hear. When I deliver training it evaluates so well and the anecdotes I use to highlight whatever point I'm making have people so engaged.
Whenever people ask about my work and my career I get the same response 'you know, you should write a book' but where does a novice even start? My A at GCSE English will only get me so far!
I would be looking at less Call the Midwife and more This is Going to Hurt. Well actually something in between in all honesty.
How do I go about this before I end up in the Home for the Perpetually Bewildered and can't remember anything interesting anymore?
Do I just tweet Heidi Thomas and be done with it?
