Christmas dinner in Dublin

Hi all, hope some locals might be able to offer some advice here.
Friends are passing through Dublin this Christmas and asked DH (he has some Dublin connections, but hasn’t a clue so pawned this off on me) for recommendations on Christmas dinner on the 25th. They arrive in Dublin on the Saturday before Christmas, they have the use of a friends apartment but won’t have time to arrange shopping etc and prepare dinner themselves so are looking for either (a) somewhere to buy a proper ready to cook meal, or (b) somewhere in the city centre that would serve a nice Christmas dinner, and still be possible to book at this late stage!
We’re talking traditional turkey and ham, brussel sprouts hereSmile Any advise or recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Clontarf Castle is meant to be amazing but to be honest they should probably have checked sooner, I imagine a lot of the hotel ones are booked up. Good luck though😀

Thanks SchoolMoney, I looked at Clontarf Castle and it does look lovely! I have passed on a link to their website to friends.
Thanks!

For ready made food try The Butlers Pantry, Avoca or Donnybrook Fair. They all have branches around the city and suburbs and their food is great

We got Darwins booked fairly last minute for our work do last year, and it was still excellent.

Dunno if it's open but Searsons pub in town is excellent for food.
Also Wilde in the Westbury.
