This topic is for discussing cots and beds. We've spent weeks researching and testing newborn beds in real homes with real families.

Struggling to decide on a Crib!

Any information would be greatly appreciated if you've used any of these!
Looking for a next2me crib and i think I've narrowed it down to about 3 or 4.

I need a crib that is standalone as I won't be attaching to our ottoman which has a solid base (wheels will need to tuck in as limited space beside bed)

I want the ease of lifting the side up/down easily & quickly in the night for feeds easy access. I like the click and slide function!

Originally I wanted the snuzpod 4 until I physically seen it and looked at other's to compare.

Joie roomie glide - not sure how much room il have to use the glide function and seems a bit rickety but the colour is perfect for us to match into our bedroom.

Graco sweet2sleep - wasn't overly keen on the material feel and colour unfortunately but seemed very practical for the price!

Chicco next2me magic EVO - not seen this in person but is on sale at amazon. I am worried as in a video review seems to drop slightly at an angle when you turn the feet inwards?? I won't be strapping to bed so I need to know it will hold up when I do that.

Trying not to look at the negatives but don't want to make the wrong choice for us

It’s not on your list but I’ve been using the maxi cosi Iora and I love it. I leave the side down so could easily comfort him during the night as you can adjust the height to your own mattress. It’s very solid and even with a very active 5 month old wiggling about in the morning there has been no issues. We will be moving him out of it in the next week or so as he is super long and is getting too long for it!

@Pipparoo2025 thankyou, I did see this I wasn't keen on the way the sides come down too fiddly as I would prefer to keep side up during the night up unless baby needs a feed so simple access is best for us.
