Hi, sorry for the long thread

First time mum and first time posting

I currently have the tutti bambini next to me and my daughter will be 6 months in a few weeks and I'm wondering if I need to buy a whole new crib as it states that it is only suitable up until 6 months... why might this be? I'm assuming one of the reasons is when baby can sit up and roll over it's not so safe when it's attached to your bed with the side down but what if I have it as a stand alone crib with the side up and no longer "next to me" will it still not be suitable? Just wondering as I have a couple of weeks to buy a new crib for her and also any advice for what kind of cot is best for babies over 6 months that will also last me a good amount of time

Thanks in advance

Usually it's a weight limit and baby needs more space to move around..
Would you just use a regular cot? I used them for birth and they lasted until it was time for a bed, very economical..

Standard cots are 60cm x 120cm :-)
