Alternative to Snuzpod...

Ok so, I don't want to co sleep. I just like the thought of seeing my baby whilst I'm lying in bed and I know that something like the Snuzpod will accommodate this. Im also aware of the Chicco next to me but again same thing, it's not attaching it to our bed that we want, it's just looking over and seeing the baby. So for that reason, I can't justify spending such a huge amount on either of them.

Does anyone have any suggestions on cheaper alternatives that have what we want?

Im currently expecting my 1st and am also in the same prediacament, the way our room is positioned, i wouldnt have room to have the crib at the side of the bed so the drop down panel is useless!

Theres a couple on a website i'm looking at (Winstanleys Pramworld) called the 'ohbaby sophie swinging crib'. It isnt material and is wooden but allows you to see youre little one whilst they sleep :)

A traditional moses basket!

@SpimblesDimbles oooo, I'll have a look at that! Thank you!

@Drizzzle probably should have mentioned we have a Moses basket. But I wouldn't mind that being for her downstairs naps and then as I say, have something for upstairs that allows us to see the baby whilst we're laying down in bed so I know she's ok. With a Moses basket - you'd have to get up to check.

Ah, ok, my moses basket stand is low enough for me to see the baby in there from my bed!

@pearl20 - ive also just stumbled across the KinderKraft Neste Bedside Crib. It does have the side panel which can be lowered but is under £100 on the preciouslittleone website (probably available on others but this is the one i've just found it on)
