First time mum- which cot/crib to buy

Exactly that in the title! Are the Ikea cribs suitable? They are relatively low in price compared to John Lewis. Money isn't an issue as I would just like a good, sturdy safe one for our baby.

Any recommendations would be great :)

I’m a first time mum too and I had the same problem, I eventually decided on the Tutti Bambini Cozee bedside crib and it’s great! Only flaw is that it doesn’t rock so you can’t sooth DC that way. Despite this it is sturdy and safe perfect for your baby

Whatever you choose do not buy Mokee. Hands down the worst online shopping experience we have ever had. They left us without a bed for our newborn after lies and broken promises. Incredibly this was the most stressful part of our entire pregnancy. On top of everything if you dare complain their attitude stinks. I had a snooze pod which is a next to you bed and would recommend and it's quite big so cld last baby for longer than moths if you want to keep them in with you for longer.

I have a next to me at the minute but will probably be going into a big cot within the next month. I also had a Moses basket I used for travelling (he grew out of that very quickly though) and a baby box in the front room x
