Does anyone pay for the Guardian by monthly direct debit?

You know that scheme that's always being advertised in the Guardian, where you pay a lump sum every month?

I want to know if the coupons you get have the date on them.

Sometimes DH gets the paper, and sometimes I get the paper, so if the coupons are dated, it's probably not the right scheme for us.

would it be cheaper to get the coupons and get it delivered, I know you would pay delivery charge but might still be cheaper overall.

We live in a town centre, so only tesco and Sainsbury's sell papers.

DH is working away for the next 6 months or so, so I've ordered the vouchers and I'll give them a try.

We have the vouchers (for Mon-Sat) and we split them up at the start of the week for the days we will get paper (like I always get it on Monday cos he is too busy at work that day).

They are dated - except for the free Observer ones which last a month - you get a couple of those (I think) in each book of coupons.
