Hiya, just saw an ad for this app and wondered people's thoughts? Seems easy....

I've been using it for about a year. It's easy to use. When you buy a gift card you get a % back in a pot, you can either keep saving in that pot or use it against your next purchase. It takes seconds. I use this one and Jam Doughnut as I find they offer different cash back rates. The only thing to be wary about is that you shouldn't buy something with gift vouchers that you may return as your refund will be in gift vouchers. Having said that I buy loads from H&M so doesn't matter to me if I get given gift vouchers. I do all my grocery shopping with gift vouchers. I probably save £2-300 a year.

Here are my referral codes if you're interested. Here's Everup https://everup.onelink.me/9lgD/w03jt896

And here's JamDoughnut. Use my link below to get a free sign up bonus: YYFB . link.jamdoughnut.com/vv6d/referrals?&deep_link_sub10=YYFB.

I can see it would have most value if the scheme offers discount vouchers for where you do most/all of your grocery shopping as you'll get a percentage of quite a high spend. Otherwise, it's a bit fiddly for a few pounds here and there, I'd be concerned about deciding the amount of voucher to buy when you don't know how much you're going to spend - you might end up with odd bits leftover on multiple gift cards if you don't spend up, or change your mind about a purchase.

But it is free money that adds up over time. I don't bother with these sorts of schemes, but I do take my Quidco cashback in M&S vouchers as the value is boosted by 5% and I do a reasonable amount of grocery shopping there.

But I second the comment about being mindful of returns, and giving up consumer rights. DP used a discount scheme similar to this to get H Samuel vouchers to buy a smart watch, which later became faulty. If he'd had paid by credit card, he would have had Section 75 protection, but didn't have this when paying with vouchers. He managed to get Garmin to repair the watch, but it made us think and I'm grateful that I didn't use vouchers to buy a new fridge freezer that did become faulty because I got 2/3 of the cost refunded from my credit card after it was deemed irrepairable.

Ive got everup but tend to use sprive. The only downside is sprive can only be used towards mortgage overpayments but I see it as reducing my debt and its surprising how much interest it takes off. If interested my referral code is 4QTQHB3G. I like sprive as I can do it at the till for in person shopping or online.

Topcashback is also brilliant and can be used alongside. I probably get 3-400 a year but I only cash it out once a year and thats online shopping.

Thanks, yes, I'll use your referral, cheers LondonCheesecake

Yes I use Everup and have earned just shy of £1000 in cashback in 2.5 years. That’s mainly grocery shopping for a family of 4 adults.

I use it for my food shopping, get a voucher to use and also do the free spins etc. Am saving it up for christmas.
