Looking for advice for selling jewellery. I desperately need to raise funds, not sure if this is the correct place to post this.

Whats the best way to sell jewellery including some that is Tiffany jewellery? Should I just try a few different places that buy jewellery and see what is the best I can get?

I'm not very good with jewellery and I don’t know the details of the pieces e.g. carat etc.

Selling jewellery is a funny one because lots of places that buy jewellery will only care about the value of the gold, or the value of the stone, which is 9 times out of 10 far less than you paid for the jewellery. Or if it is a real collectors item.

Things like Tiffany jewellery aren’t worth much to those who buy jewellery generally unless you find a buyer who does have a particular liking for Tiffany and wants the brand.

I sold some things recently to Hatton Jewels 5 Hatton Pl, London EC1N 8RU

I had priced them by asking for valuations from various auction houses. I needn't have bothered with that step. I emailed Hatton with a picture of the items, they asked me to post them and they got in touch with an offer.

I was pleasantly surprised, it was all very fast. They sell / buy Tiffany.

Thanks that’s helpful to know. I will see if I can find anywhere that is geared towards Tiffany jewellery.

Thanks, I will have a look at them. However I don’t want to post anything.

For safety reasons I intend to sell my family jewellery. It is quite varied with some lovely stuff there. Would it be best to take it to a local jeweller or try with Cash Cow, for instance,

I sold some jewlery on we buy gold was only around 7 items and I got £975 paid onto my bank the day after I sent it off

I would take to auction for branded jewellery
What quality are these pieces? If high quality an auction house like Elmwoods
Definitely not a pawn shop - crap prices

Do you have receipts or proof of provenance? As someone who has had family jewellery stolen in a burglary, I would only buy from a reliable source.
