Cheap but good quality towels?

Need to replace all the towels in the house - they’re awful, mismatched and no longer soft!
but I can’t find anything affordable really..

so, any recommendations for hand and bath towels but good quality?

We’ve had our Sainsbury’s towels for decades, still going strong.

I've had some towels from Home Bargains. They are much better quality than I've ever had from from any of the supermarkets or Matalan. Nice and thick (although I appreciate some people prefer a thinner towel) and just as good as some I have from Dunelm and M&S.

The only down side is the range of colours is a little limited and they stopped doing the navy ones I was buying.

IKEA towels are lovely and thin ( I don't like thick towels). They dry quickly in the bathroom and also when you wash / dry them. I spent ages looking for thin towels.

I would also recommend Asda. Bought 20 years ago and have just come out of the dryer soft, fluffy and still a good white.
