2024 "inflation" pay rise, anyone?

I believe a few companies often do an annual payrise.
Often in line with inflation. Just wondered what people were given for 2024, if anything.

Going first... just found out that we are getting 3% at my company. Doesnt sound too shabby. Better than a slap in the face, I guess lol.

Are you getting or gotten a rise for 2024?

Private sector. Salary increases were only around 3.5% but we had a good year so my expected 15% bonus was increased to 33%.

Private sector. Just over 5.5%. Usually get a cash bonus at Christmas too of around 2% of salary.

  1. Private sector. Contractual bonuses have also been put on hold.

Private sector, but social housing so usually very minimal pay rise.

Last year was 3% but we did get a one off col bonus of £1k but obviously taxed.

This year I'm expecting 3% again, without the bonus.

The issue we have is the bigger the pay rise the higher inflation goes ...

I got 8% cost of living last August. I won’t know my 2024 COL raise until August.

10%, partly driven by an increase in minimum wage - private. At a meeting, we were told extra duties/things we need to take onboard, that's why we're getting 10% - in reality there's rarely going to be time to take on these extra things - will take the money in the meantime though.

DinnaeFashYersel · 26/03/2024 11:28

Charity - 1%

Blankscreen · 26/03/2024 11:30

Law firm 0%.

Got 2.5% last year and just got a £345 bonus.

It's embarrassing when the partner are on over £300k.

I need to leave asap

3% private company.

Fuck all. Finance, private sector.

beachguy · 14/04/2024 21:01

6.3% in jan plus another 3.2% in October.
also for4.7% in jan 25 and another 3.0% from April 25. Guaranteed RPI in 26.

3 year deal. Hoping to claw back the 19% I’ve lost since 2019. (pay rises vs RPI).

Private sector tourism.
