I’m panicking now

I have a direct debit set up with my gas and electric provider, I have just received an email saying that with the payments I make a month I will owe just over £700 at the end of the year. They are suggesting that I pay £570 a month though direct debit so I won’t owe anything at the end of the year. I have never had such a high suggestion before it’s definitely not something we can afford at the moment. Does this seem right? For reference we are a family of 4 who live in a small 2 bed 1 bath bungalow. I don’t think we use a huge amount of gas or electric we are quite conscious of it and our children are too young to turn light and heating on on their own.
