Job centre appointment

I am wondering what could be the consequence of this

My 1st appointment last week, I cancelled because I was ill and I was assured no sanction and appointment scheduled for today but to be honest I have no money at all to get there on the bus or petrol on the car and I can't walk to the job centre because I am not fit enough medically

I want to message the job centre to say I can not make to the appointment because of the above reason but wondering if it makes sense but then it is my/the truth & there is nothing I can do about it. I don't even know what I am going to feed my 2 kids for lunch when they get back from sch and supper before bed today or tomorrow.

Don't reapply for your PIP!! That's terrible advice. If the decision date was less than 13 months ago, request an MR. If you get turned down again, appeal it.

If your within the 13 month time limit to request the MR... and it ultimately gets reinstated. It'll be backdated to when your money stops.

ONLY make a new claim IF your decision date was more than 13 months ago.

MR here: www.gov.uk/mandatory-reconsideration

I thought you had to ask for a MR within a month?

I've never heard of it being 13 months? Very happy to be corrected though.

Thank you very much for that.

Go to this website, join up and read the Guides to claiming PIP and completing the UC50.
