UC claims review team

hi, thanks in advance for any advice that can be given.
i’ve seen messages circulating about an enhanced review team however i’ve received a message on my journal but it’s different it says it’s just from the UC claims review team and that they will contact me within 7 days to check i’m being paid the right amount and i may have to upload documents etc. why is my message different to everyone else’s and what will i have to provide? will i still get paid in the meantime. i’m an extremely anxious person so this has been on my mind all night as i got it at near enough 7pm yesterday. Has anyone else gone through this if so what was the outcome

@Dana81 they said it would effect it but i’m not due to be paid yet so i don’t know. maine isn’t enhanced review team it’s just UC claim review team

Enhanced Review Team is different to Universal Credit Review Team.
The UCR Team will only suspend payment if there has been no engagement (bank statements uploaded, ID verified, interview not attended etc).
The interviews can take a while to schedule once a clakmant has sent things in because the UCR teams have big caseloads and limited time in their diaries to book appointments.
Don't panic. Your money won't stop if you comply with the Review.

@BronnauMawrion is the ucr team random checks? do you know what questions they will ask

Hi what's universal credit UCR mean when it's in your journal asking for another review claim after having one only a week ago

I had my call Friday, was very standard questions. It's nothing to worry about unless you've got another income coming in you haven't disclosed or your selling online etc. was over in 10 minutes, very nice lady and not at all intrusive. Try not to worry!

Thanku. So much thought it was last Friday its this Friday. I suffer from panic attacks and this wasn't helping. Nowt else coming in , I wish. Thank u for easing my mind x

U were right very nice . I have a loan from credit union . I pay every month ,queried that thought I was saving with them. That was all she seemed concerned about. Stressed for nothing lol. I hope xx

Pleased it went well @Hangryjinkyboy it's such a worry isn't it! I certainly wasn't expecting a deep dive into my bank accounts but I do understand why they do it!!

Totally now. As so many folks online make a good living. But not my business. Just glad all good even though I'm just getting benefits due to ill health
