@moimichme the decluttering continues
the only 'valuable' thing we have to sell is a sofa bed, which will make a big difference in terms of space in the house - I don't think we'll get more than £100 for it but better than nothing, which is what the rest of the clutter has been worth! I'm selling some of the DC's old toys for around £30 but that will go into their bank accounts anyway. The rest of it has been toddler toys which I might get £2 each for, tons of crayons, stickers, kids baking stuff etc; things they've definitely grown out of but which wouldn't fetch anything to sell, nursery may as well benefit as the DC had a lovely time there.
I've been reading up about TOMM and agree with lots of the principles - but stopping the inflow of 'stuff' is hard when MIL loves to buy bits for the DC! She is very kind and it's lovely of her to do it, but we just run out of room and then they have so many toys that they forget what they have to play with
