I have and are due to start.
However m condition is worsening I have said I will try and see how I manage . My restart support said give it a go . M work coach sad if my gosh has changed fill in a new health assessment.
I do not know what to do. Any advice on if the joB is to much and I can't do I how does that effect m benefit and if to fill a health assessment form in can I still try this job. Lastly if a dr says you at info I still do understand how the dwp says to are.
I have been confused.

The 'gateway' to be treated as fit for work or not is the Work Capability Assessment (WCA) which you say you've had. Evidence from your GP or other Health Care Professional should be taken into account but it's not the decider.

The DWP's assessors are not always doing a good and accurate job in their reports. Furthermore, Decision Makers still place too much weight on that report rather than an overview of all the evidence.

How long ago was the WCA and did you ask for a Mandatory Reconsideration of the outcome?

If your health condition(s) are getting worse and you find the work too much you can report that to UC via your Journal and lodge a new 'fit note' with them.

Make clear exactly what is worse and how this affects your ability to work.

You may be asked to do another WCA.

I think try the job and see how you get on. If you can't manage then log in journal and you'll have to have another assessment.

Thank you. My work coach pretty much told me to fill in a new dwp assessment as I had appealed at my last one December . My dr signs me off till October but again getting to see a dr is not easy. I am waiting for a mri report as well. My restart support has said try th job and if you cannot manage it and it is to much you still have the universal credit to go back to. So I am completely muggled as I want to try by I just think I will struggle I have also asked access to work to help with adaptations which I will tell the employer when I start. Also how will my new dwp fit to work assessment stop if I try the job and also
How did th fit note from my dr work as hesigned me off but I am going to try and work. I hope my message is not to confusing

It's a bit of a tricky one as your GP has signed you not fit for work so if you then go to work I'm not sure whether you would need to let your employer know. I'm just not sure where you would stand if something happened / It's probably best to check this out.
If you had another work capability assessment and for example were awarded LCW, then you can still work some hours if you are limited in what hours or type of work you could do because of your illness. Even being awarded LCW rather than LCWRA would help as you could work some hours and benefit from the work allowance meaning a proportion of your earnings are disregarded before earnings reduce your UC. If you have children on your Uc claim you will have a work allowance regardless of whether you have LCW or LCWRA.

Thanks for your advice I have asked the dr to ring me to get their advice. Hopefully they will ring today I am due to start on Friday. I just feel I am in a mess with it all at the moment
