Trying to cut costs- like everyone, and have two (rescue) cats. With cat food prices increasing I am looking for cheaper suppliers.
They won't touch very cheap brands, will prefer to go hungry and yowl a lot and it end up being wasted. Whiskas or Felix they will eat, I can't afford the posher stuff. I tried making my own cat food from online recipes using raw and cooked meats, fish, heart etc- my cats were horrified and wouldn't touch it.
I currently pay around 37p a sachet , and I don't mind buying in bulk.

You can probably play around with it, first of all enter all the details correctly to see what you "should" get sent and then you can figure out the best way to double it for the lowest price. And don't forget to postpone your next monthly delivery by a month so you don't actually end up with twice the quantity of food two months on the trot!

I tried katkin on my four and it didn’t go down well. I also didn’t like the consistency and smell of it (though I am a non meat eater). I actually found big cans of tuna from Sainsbury’s were quite cost effective compared to cat food.

My 2 cats eat the Aldi cans in jelly. They do salmon and chicken they like them both. They are not keen on dried cat food. They actually have high meat content compared to many othher brands.

Mine are happy on Asdas own tiger brand. But now I have 7 which have put my costs up considerably. £12.30 for 40 pouches doesn't go far. I’m considering changing to tinned tiger brand to see if that will cut costs. They also get tiger brand biscuits to supplement. I cant part with any of them so just looking to find a cheaper alternative.

My two came to me on Felix AGAIL, and there's nothing else they will stick with, so don't waste too much money trying different brands. I do keep on eye on Amazon and PetsatHome for prices/offers on large boxes of cat food. My two will eat Felix AGAIL doubly delicious and definitely cheaper to have that on a subscription with them - also means I haven't got to take the car out to collect.

I tried my cat on tinned cat food and he kept vomiting on it but is fine with any brand of pouches

There's some good offers on Amazon at the moment. I just bought 120 pouches of Felix As Good As it Looks Ocean Feast for £32. The same food is usually 40 pouches for £16 in Sainsburys so it's like buy two get one free.

Deal of the day: Felix As Good As It Looks Adult Wet Cat Food Fish in Jelly 120 x 100g Pouches https://amzn.eu/d/eafMc1s

Mine also have the Purina One dry food, the Bifensis one. It's £20 for a big bad but that lasts a few weeks, alongside the wet food so cuts costs overall.

I have three cats.

I buy Amazon Lifelong pate trays, the meat content is comparable to Rosie's Farm trays from Bitiba and Zooplus. I did find the beef variety gave my two cats a runny tummy so I stick with Salmon and Poultry variety. They're grain and sugar free, my cats always clean the plate. The poultry one works out at £3.92 per kg with subscribe and save.
