Selling old kids clothes

After years of thinking we might have a 3rd, and so holding on to all the baby gear and old clothes etc, we are now sure we won't (can't afford it!). Lots of stuff to shift. Could really do with making some money from it to help with bills this winter. What's the best way? Ideally I'd wash it all as it smells of the loft - but washing costs money and realistically might cost more to wash than I'd make! Facebook marketplace seems to have gone quiet, and I can't see who would pay postage costs for old kids clothes (eBay/Vinted). What do you recommend?

Vinted but yes they need to be in decent condition (so no marks, tears or bobbles in the material etc) or it needs to be v cheap and listed according to condition (more so the heavily worn, no one wants stained clothes). Shove a discount on for buying multiple items or lsit in batches

Car car boot sale? You wouldn't need to wash them and you could get rid of any other clutter too. Whatever you don't manage to sell then take to a charity shop. You probably wouldn't get as much as you would on eBay/vinted but you'd be shot of everything at the same time and wouldn't have to mess about with posting/collection/time wasters etc.

i have just sold 2 sets of girls bundles on eBay, 56 watchers on 1 & 37 watchers on the other….

I had ‘buy it now’ on both for £14 which I thought was fair but not cheeky. 1 went for £29.88 & the other for &17.

now is the time to sell on eBay/vinted as prices of new clothes are so high.

Anything you don’t manage to sell if you bag it up and take it to H&M they will give £5 voucher off - so not money in your hand but if you need to buy clothes in future may be useful

All depends on what it is. Branded clothes will sell whereas supermarket/chain you need to bundle
