Vodaphone, PlusNet or Now Broadband provider

All offering similar speeds and around £19-25 mark (per month). Interested in consistent speeds/reliability and good service if things go wrong.

Any recommendations out of these three?

Currently have Vodafone. Used to have Plusnet. So far Vodafone have it on customer service. Oh and they had a good offer of £100 Amazon card for signing up but this was back last year!

I am with Now since January 2022. Have got the fibre deal and no problems with the broadband. I was overcharged initially and did have to ring customer services twice before it was sorted out. Actually speaking to the customer services was straightforward. The connection date was 2 weeks after the day I signed up, just in case you are trying to time that with end of contract.

No problems with Plusnet for a number of years, we also have their SIM only mobile plans which have an extra 2gb pm for broadband customers. I've just renewed on an 18m contract as my previous one expires in Oct.
One thing to watch is that the price isn't fixed for the contract length - it has a CPI + 3.9% increase every March built in, which will increase the price quite a bit next year.
They also do a referral scheme, www.plus.net/refer.php?strReferralsUid=fbde8e5a1348259206e7f862f866c1127707bc9afaa23fecaf4650805b20e2ab is mine if you want to use it.

Shell boardband might be another one to consider, based on prices.
Have you checked comparison sites?

Yes. The cheapest is Vodaphone at £22/mth with a £120 voucher card. Can't recall who the third party provider was who offered this though

I had Vodafone and it was dreadful. Have been with plusnet for a couple of years and it's super reliable and super fast. Really good customer service where you can chat with real people in Yorkshire.

Wouldn't move

That's interesting Clymene. Vodaphone also state a 24 month contract which scares me cause if they're useless, I won't be able to change it without a heavy exit cost
