Card 1 £750 balance normal Interest rate
Card 2 £1180 interest free until Oct 2019
Card 3 £2800 interest free for another Yr.

Just found out we're due 3200 from tax credits as account closed and they had previous figures wrong. Not sure when we get this.

My thinking was clear card 1 and 2. And whatever left take off card 3?

Then at a push could clear card 3 within 4 or 5 months. Plenty of time before baby arrives.

Dp. Said clear the large card first but being as its interest free for so long it seems. Silly.

I agree with you. Pay off the one you are paying interest on first.

Agree with your plan. Interest paying card should be cleared first.
Once that’s gone, you can focus all your repayments on the large card and it will be cleared quicker.

Fab thank you. That's my thinking.
I can't believe we could be clear in a few. Months. Makes all the struggling last Yr worth while.
Now just to wait for our uc to get sorted and hopefully can clear it a tad quicker

Pay 1 and 2 in full, remainder of your lump sum in 3 along with the monthly payments you would have had to make to 1 and 2...snowball Grin
