I have 0% credit card with £2.5k, it's reaching the end of the 0% so I applied for another card to balance transfer and the new card the credit limit is only £2100?

Should I balance transfer £2100 and then try and get the remaining £300 paid with the interest added on?

I've bought a house and have a lot to pay out in next few weeks, this is going to set me back.

Check your new card will allow you to use the entire limit up, some will only allow 90% and don't forget there will also be a transfer fee which can be 3.5-5% so you may end up with more than £300 on your original card.

After that there are several options. You could ring up your original card and ask if they would extend the interest free period or reduce the new interest rate. I rang mine and they extended it for 2 months.

You could apply for another 0% card.

But what it really comes down to is how much difficulty paying off the remaining balance will be. The interest on £300ish won't be eye watering so why not spread it over 2 months instead?
