How can I earn an extra £200 a month?

Any realistic ideas of how I can do this? I've spent this evening doing and re-doing the sums, but the bottom line is we are struggling financially.

I've already switched us to the cheapest providers for everything and I meal plan etc. Still can't make ends meet and each month and some bill or other ends up going on the credit card. I can only afford the minimum repayments too and now I'm close to the limit, following an MOT failure this month. Overdrafts are also maxed out.

An extra £200 a month would mean I can afford all our outgoings each month AND be able to start chipping away at the debt, so eventually we'd be better off in the long run. But, how?

Train and do nails or something from home

Market research - lots of them are over the phone or Skype. Petsitting through websites like pawshake, I make an easy few quid feeding cats nearby occasionally when their owners are away.

Has anyone ever actually taken in ironing as a result of one of these threads?

Is matched betting legit? Is there any risk with it?

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/09/2017 21:29

No risk if you follow the instructions, legit & tax free.

NikiBabe · 18/09/2017 21:34

What is the best one to do with matched betting. There are loads out there.

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/09/2017 21:45

I found profit accumulator better than oddsmonkey.

NikiBabe · 18/09/2017 21:46

How much does matched betting cost you?

FrankyStein · 18/09/2017 22:30

It doesn't 'cost' anything but the bigger 'bank' you have the better as you can tackle the large offers immediately. The larger the offer the bigger the money earned

Why not watch some intro videos on profit accumulator? That will answer your questions

DorisPegg · 19/09/2017 07:08

I prefer oddsmonkey but they are very similar.

No risk as long as you follow the instructions. You can start with £50 but it'll take you a bit longer to work your way up to a bigger profit.

£200 a month would be easy though. I'm aiming for £1000 a month and although it takes a bit of work think I can do it.

It's tax free too. No idea why it's called match betting as it's not betting at all. Good luck!

I'm in the same position. luckily I love in the south west with lots of holiday homes. so my second job is cleaning for change over..cash..£ 300..

I work for a psychic text messaging company and it's always frantically busy. I do both psychic and tarot work. I get 30p per text Mon-Fri and 36p at the weekends and they are around 450 characters. I am quite quick and they take me around 2-3 mins each. I do it on top of my full time job and depending on how hard I work I can earn as much as I like. I think the most was £95 in a week. I have to do my own tax and NI though but I can knock off a lot of expenses such as broadband and electricity. I earn an average of £250pcm.

Alittlepotofrosie · 05/10/2017 14:21

Matched betting is really easy and as long as you're careful when you're placing and laying bets so you don't make any mistakes then you can't really go wrong. Completely legal and completely risk free. I used oddsmonkey, just stopped due to lack of time but i made an easy £300 with a couple of hours a week. Just remember to use topcashback/quidco to sign up to bookies for extra profit.

JustMarriedAndLovingIt

I think that's utterly brilliant, well done!

rogueantimatter · 13/10/2017 11:20

Maybe you could cut another key to give someone else who lives very nearby. If there had been a fire..... extremely unlikely of course. I've occasionally locked the front door when I've gone out forgetting that your dad was in. He could still get out though. This is what happens when you're overtired/ worked. You do absent-minded things.

rogueantimatter · 13/10/2017 12:12

It will only get you a little bit extra, but online surveys pay out in gift vouchers including amazon. IME ipsos is the best one. There's Yougov but in three monthd I'm only halfway towards getting my £50 voucher.

I put my dds into one bedroom and rented out the spare for 6 months on spare rooms

Lots of people said

Oh I don’t think I’d want to share

But I found it was fine and well worth the initial feelings of having a house guest when the extra money paid the shopping bill and petrol every week

I had weekly cash as that’s what suited me and then didn’t touch my debit card
