Just wondered if anyone has any tips for this really. DD's friend's mum seems to live this lifestyle but I don't really know her well enough yet to ask how she does it!

I will add any tips that I think of but mind is blank at the moment

Put everything on a tesco clubcard that you can pay off and collect the points. Change the points for hotels for nice weekends away... we have just been to london £5 switches to £15

@MainFlamingo Can you give some examples of champagne lifestyle things you would like to buy/do and maybe we can help how to do them on a budget?

We like to have fun recreating experiences which I call 'the poor man's....'

Eg the poor man's spa... cover the bed in towels light a scented candle and put cheesey spa music in and take it in turns to do massage/ facial then into the bathroom, salt scrub, shower, oil etc. Buy products cheaply, far cheaper than a spa day.

Done this for restaurant, cinema etc all at home. We even made our own burger joint one time and designed logos.

Kids love it!

This is a zombie thread.

But I can see I commented all those years ago (even though with hindsight it is obvious to me this was a bit of a "bitch about people on benefits" op.)

Anyway, as I said then. I had very wealthy parents who helped with any chunky costs when I was a single mum

Was going to say she works 16 hours pw, if she rents that will be covered no council tax so that’s a huge saving as it is! Yes probably credit cards if not a sugar daddy lol 😂 I’d rather have little than go into debt just to look good, if she’s single maybe child maintenance also??
