I really need to raise it to get a train ticket for Feb to visit family. Haven't really anything of value to eBay or sell on seek n sell type places on Facebook. Any ideas?!

Shpock is an app for local buying and selling. Like the Facebook groups but much more organised and much fewer people who let you down as is often the case with the FB selling sites. Do you have a family railcard? It could pay to have one with just the one trip - certain times of year it is cheaper to get.
